300 Hr Yoga Teacher Training Program


Do you agree that a 200 hour yoga teaching program is just the beginning? Most people who completed the initial training are craving more and are looking to take the next step. This 300 hour program is designed to deepen your practice and advance skills as a yoga teacher.

Every other week: (One week on and the next week off):
Tuesdays 6:30pm - 9:00pm; Saturday 12:00pm - 5:00pm and Sunday 12:15pm - 5:15pm
Starting Sept 18, 2018 and ending June 18, 2019

Price: $2900 plus $500 registration fee= $3400

Registration fee: $500 holds your spot (non-refundable)

Early bird special: $3200 if paid in full by July 18th 2018 (Save $200)

Payment plan: $500 registration fee; $600 due first day of class; $500 a month for next additional 5 months= $3600

Yin Yoga: Rosemary Hudson eRYT 500: The Foundations of a Quiet Practice aspired by the internationally acclaimed yoga master teacher and scholar Paul Grilley. Included in this program will be a comprehensive review on Yin Yoga theory. Expand your personal body experience and practice. Yin Yoga involves the connective tissue which responds best to gentle stress. In this class the deeper spiritual dimensions of yoga, with sections on chakras, breathing exercises, and meditation will be addressed.

Iyengar yoga: Jeff Logan -Learn the time honored Iyengar practice utilizing traditional yoga postures as a technique to improve body alignment and focus.  Special attention will be given to a focus that allows consciousness to penetrate areas of the body that are weakened, imbalanced or constricted. This section will include teach-back demos, adjustments and improving your skills as a teacher. Jeff’s gift is taking you where you are to the next stage.

Enhance Your Yoga Teaching Skills - Deb Jensen eRYT 1000: Learn pose modifications to work with a variety of populations and age groups. Learn how to take anatomy and physiology of the body into the classroom. Understand where the students are coming from at the same time discover your own teaching voice. Learn how to introduce more philosophical aspect of yoga into your students. Learn advanced pranayama techniques. Learn centering tools that promote meditation and relaxation.

Uniting Yoga and Ayurveda - Nina Triolo eRYT 500: Expand your knowledge of koshas and gunas and incorporate this into your lessons. Pranayama, asana, visualization, lighting, music, temperature and tone will be taught in order to assimilate it into your teaching styles and classroom. Practice and teach-back demos will also be included.

Teaching Creative Vinyasa - Amy Perri eRYT 500: This training is designed to both integrate what you have already learned and equip you with the confidence, experience and information needed to tap into your own creative intelligence as you move deeper into your teaching experience. Included in this course will be an overview of the basic principles, philosophy, and mechanics of teaching vinyasa flow for all levels. We will also examine, and practice, the creative art of structured, intuitive sequencing, timing, themes, music and its role in a class, as well as designing vinyasa based workshops.

Yoga Nidra - Regina Chaeli: Learn how to heal the emotions and belief systems at the same time uncover your deeper true nature. You will learn how to deepen your own meditation practice, how to give affective yoga nidra classes, and expand your teaching to include privates. This segment utilizes the practices based on the teachings of Richard Miller and irest techniques as well as traditional Vedanta wisdoms.

Living the Yoga Lifestyle - Regina Chaeli: In this class Patanjali’s yoga sutras will be brought into your life. By utilizing various techniques learned in this class, the obstacles that weigh down your life will be released. You will step into a new way of seeing the world: a world that brings peace and love; comfort and ease. Every meeting we will uncover a different sutra, digest its meaning and learn how it can be incorporated into daily life. Trauma Sensitive Yoga -Emily Chappell: Trauma is an occurrence that happens in many people's life. It can occur in various degrees of intensity from a mild form that might cause anxiety to a deep routed PTSD. Learn an alternative teaching style to address students with various degrees of trauma. You will learn how to make your classroom more trauma-informed. This model has been shown to significantly reduce symptoms of PTSD and other degrees of trauma .

300 Hr Yoga Teacher Certification Teachers:


Regina Chaeli RN LMT eRYT: Regina is the coordinator of Yoga Darshana Center and the director of the 200 hr Long Island Yoga Teacher Training Program. She has studied formal yoga for over 30 years. She is a licensed massage therapist and registered nurse. Regina has completed advanced training with Richard Miller in Yoga Nidra, as well as many other yoga modalities. She has a strong understanding of the human body and how it works. Her specialty is guiding the student on the inner journey.  


Debra Jensen PTA, eRYT 500: Deb is a Physical Therapist Assistant, Integrative Yoga Therapist and a Certified Health Counselor. She trained with IYT for her 200, 500 & 1000 hour yoga therapist certifications. Debra has been teaching yoga classes for cancer survivors, as well as chair yoga & Level I classes as well as specialized workshops at Southampton Hospital for more than 12 years. Debra also teaches as faculty with IYT's yoga therapist training program at Kripalu and is the Program Coordinator for Southampton Hospital's Functional Fitness and Healthy at any Age Programs.


Rosemary Hudson E-RYT: Rosemary began studying yoga at 16 years old. As the middle child of seven, she found peace and focus as well as a low impact way to be fit. She began her yoga teaching career at 19, took a hiatus after a few years and returned to being a leader of the practice 10 years ago. Rosemary is known for her positive, happy outlook and zest for life. She enjoys bringing the healing practice and peace of yoga to people of all ages.  


Jeff Logan: Jeff is the owner of Body, Mind & Soul yoga center in Huntington. He is currently on the Board of Iyengar Yoga Association of NY & an Officer of the Long Island Yoga Association where he writes the Asana Column for its quarterly newsletter. He is certified in the Iyengar tradition and is known for his in-depth, yet light hearted approach to teaching asana. Jeff teaches the Iyengar Yoga section of the yoga teacher training program.  


Dolores Burns MA RYT: Dolores has been a teacher and student of yoga for over 20 years. She was a student and secretary for Gurani Anjali for 14 years at Yoga Anand Ashram where she did extensive training in yoga and eastern philosophy. Dolores is currently a student of Swami Chandrasekharanand Saraswati and Sivarpita from Patanjali Kundalini Yoga Care. She has a BA in Education. Dolores teaches The Bhagavad Gita sections.  

Donna Brook RN MA RYT: Donna Brook is a registered nurse with extensive experience in working with clients in crisis and transition. She is also a Reiki Master, Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner, Angel Therapy Practitioner, and holds Therapeutic Lifestyle Certification. Donna is trained and certified in Ayurveda through the International Vedic Institute. She has also studied energy medicine with Alberto Villoldo.  


Amy Perri eRYT 500: The transformative quality of yoga and its ability to cultivate self-acceptance, gratitude and compassion led Amy to become a yoga teacher. She completed her 200 hour training at Into This World Yoga Productions in 2007 and completed her 500 hr Long Island Yoga Teacher Training with Rolf Gates in June 2010. Amy teaches adults and children out of her home studio and brings yoga to the developmentally disabled.
